-Read and understand product / part requirement based on product design documents and interactions with design engineers.
-Developing RFQ documents
-Identifying potential suppliers through market research and audits
-Strategically source and negotiate pricing, terms & conditions and manage contracts, agreements and renewals.
-Implement and upkeep all purchasing strategies, policies & procedures.
-Monitor vendor performance by measuring quality, cost & delivery, development responsiveness / lead times.
-Monitor identify areas for possible savings and secure more cost effective & reliable sources of products and parts
